Class: Introduction to Product Development

What

ME 110 is a project class where students take a product idea through the product development journey all the way to finished prototype. My group designed a water bottle with hydration-tracking, filtration, and insulation features.

How

We conducted customer interviews and data-centric concept selection processes to determine what features were to be implemented in our final product. Unfortunately due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had to resort to a final CAD model along with a technical report as our final deliverables, which can be found here. The functionality of the product was showcased in the form of a proof of concept analysis.
